"Secretarial Sherrie." That was the nickname my aunt gave me when I was just a child. Even then, I knew I was destined to help people navigate their paths to success.
SM&R Talent Solutions didn’t start in a boardroom; it started in my mother’s living room when I was 16 years old. With a makeshift office and a relentless drive, I spent my afternoons helping family members find their next career moves. I was eager, vibrant, and—as my family might tell you—probably a little "annoyingly" persistent about it! 🙂
That same fire drives me today. After transitioning into motherhood, I found myself in another makeshift office, returning to the work I’ve loved since I was a teenager. This time, however, I returned with 16 years of high-level expertise, a background that includes foundational experience at JPMorgan Chase mixed with a deeper sense of wisdom, and a personal mission to multiply the impact I had before. My journey into motherhood has made my work more personal and my advocacy more intentional. After my own season of recovery, I poured back into myself so that I could pour more effectively into others.
